Alright, well.. sometimes when I try to open my mouth.. it locks up, not all the way, I can open it about halfway and then I either have to close it and reopen it or shift to the side and open it.
I have gone to an orthodontist and have had braces put in, they never said anything about my teeth being slanted or anything. my top arch used to be like 2 mm smaller than my bottom arch but they fixed that but.. One day I mentioned "lockjaw" and got "Tetanus?" and I look it up and see some fatal disease….
I do have trouble opening my mouth all the way without pain most of the time, I brush my teeth twice a day (I didn't when I was younger…), I get headaches but not very frequently, once a month max, I'm slightly depressed but I had major problems when I was younger, and I'm pretty fine now but I still show some minor signs, I have trouble concentrating a lot… and sometimes I feel like I'm floating… weird….. I don't know of any relevance, just listing a bunch of oddities….
You most likely don't have tetanus. if you had untreated tetanus, you would most certainly be dead by now, or at least in no condition to write a letter. You might discuss with your orthodontist or dentist the possibility of temperomandibular joint syndrome (TMJ). Problems with the TMJ can manifest in several ways, but is often treatable.
