As part of my degree I have to give a presentation about depression, which includes detail on the physical, sensory, and psychological factors. However, I can't get my head around the difference between sensory symptoms and physical symptoms – they're the same thing, aren't they??
I think I'm overthinking this…any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The impact of sensory defensiveness on performance, behaviour and adjustment of children has been addressed in the literature, but little has been written concerning its impact on adults. the purpose of this study was to explore whether sensory-defensive adults had more symptoms of anxiety, depression and pain than adults without sensory defensiveness.
