What kind of Claritin is good for these symptoms caused by pets-itching, bleeding skin, soar throat & runny..?

nose? I wonder if my Claritin Redi-Tabs will work. If I work around animals will I have even minor symptoms? Do I have to worry about getting asthma? Also tell me whether you have tried it before and for how long, or whether your an allergist, etc.
