Who Else Wants To Relieve Menopause Symptoms Today?

To Clairfy, there is no “cure” for menopause. Menopause is an essential progression of a woman’s body and nothing can be done to dismiss that progression. the “remedies” that we are going to discuss here are for the symptoms of menopause, and not for menopause itself. Menopause is going to occur whether you treat the symptoms or not, but treating the symptoms can make the process of menopause much, easier to bear.

There are two general schools of thought about the treatment for the symptoms of menopause. the first is:

ERT (Estrogen Replacement Therapy) and HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy): Medical doctors prescribe and control the use of synthetically produced hormones expected to replace the hormones that are no longer being provided naturally by the woman’s body. there are several variations of this treatment but basically it is all accomplished by the use of synthetic hormones in some form.

The main problem with both ERT and HRT is that there is an increased risk for breast cancer for women who take these hormones. if you are considering going on an ERT or HRT program, it is reasonable to weigh the benefits and the risks and talk to your doctor about both.

The second school of thought is:

Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy and Other Homeopathic Treatments: in the case of natural hormone replacement therapy, the hormones are provided by plants. They are not synthetic, and there are no known side effects associated with natural hormones unless you are currently allergic to the herbs.

The trouble with the natural hormone replacement option is that these hormones are not as powerful as the synthetically produced hormones, so your symptoms of menopause may not be completely eliminated.
