ADD/ADHD symptoms?

by Symptom Advice on December 12, 2010

What are they? my friend at work said she has it and explained her symptoms. Not to sound like a copycat but she sounds just like me! She said she likes shiny things. That she loses stuff a lot. She has trouble concentrating. And she can't sit still a lot. I feel like these all explain me! I lose stuff all the time. I can't look at people for long because I look at background and what's going on around me. I can't pay attention to teachers explain stuff-I have to have a paper to look at to explain things. And, even then I feel like I can't conentrate sometimes. And I feel like I am always doing a lot of things at once and can't get one thing done because I am doing a lot of things and I get so burdened by that-I just want to scream. And I lose stuff a lot like my keys even though I had them 5 minutes ago. So, am I just freaking out all of a sudden or is possible that I could have this? my sister was diagnosed with ADHD as a child so is it possible I have something like that too ?

The three types of ADHD symptoms are:

* Inattention. This is the most common symptom. in addition to having difficulty paying attention, people with this symptom often are unable to consistently focus, remember, and organize. They may be careless and have a hard time starting and completing tasks that are boring, repetitive, or challenging.
* Impulsivity. People who frequently act before thinking may not make sound judgments or solve problems well. They may also have trouble developing and maintaining personal relationships. an adult may not keep the same job for long or spend money wisely.
* Hyperactivity. A hyperactive child may squirm, fidget, and climb or run when it is not appropriate. these children often have difficulty playing with others. They may talk a great deal and not be able to sit still for even a short time. Teenagers and adults who are hyperactive don't usually have the more obvious physical behaviors seen in children. rather, they often feel restless and fidgety and are not able to enjoy reading or other quiet activities.

From what you are saying it does sound like you have some of these symptoms. It is probably best you get some advice from a professional who can properly diagnose your symptoms. take care.

Well I have ADHD and my symptoms are the inability to focus on the task at hand, and your mind is all over the place. It's also as if you cant block out surrounding noises, which makes it hard to focus. also a lot of hyperactivity.

Edit: Don't believe what the people that say it's a bogus disease, because they have no idea what they are talking about, just know that pills don't solve the problem at hand, they only help you to focus. Don't take Ritalin, or Stratera, because they give you ticks. Statera was originally prescribed for people with depression and it didn't work, so they are trying it as an ADHD/ADD medication. I take Adderall and it helps a lot, so I think you should take that if you actually are diagnosed the ADHD.

The MAIN and most common "symptom" is parents who can't handle a kid with normal energy for a kid. ADD/ADHD is an ADULT problem…the adults want kids to "behave" like adults…THEY'RE KIDS. The big problem is that kids don't get enough exercise these days. When I was a kid I spent literally all my time riding my bike around, or climbing trees, or building a fort, or digging a hole…something physical. we also had PE and playground time with organized games.

Yes ADD/ADHD is a problem with the adults in our modern society.

If you worry about where you are going in the afterlife, you will become unfocused on truth in life. Many of these identified diseases are incurable while people set examples for and teach each other to worry about what happens in the afterlife. They are literally scared to death of an unproven illusion that cannot exist and their brains cannot subconsciously make sense of it. on the one hand they are told that there is one all knowing ever present God. on the other hand they are told that somehow you can separate from this God. It is either one or the other, but no human can concentrate on anything if their minds are thrown into either a conscious or subconscious "loop" pattern. for those who do not know what a loop pattern is, it is where a program goes in circles attempting to find data to support an answer that will allow it to proceed to the next step. The next step for most humans is making everyday moral and other types of decisions. So small distractions can stop the loop pattern but only for a second or two and then back into the loop pattern. Drugs can sedate the situation but the person then just becomes slower, still having the disease but can make slower decisions because the loop pattern is seemingly stopped for seconds at a time. So with some help they can make some decisions then, counselling stuff like that, when the real problem is the overconcentration program of fear of afterlife consequence that cannot exist! So we have bipolar, ahd, adhd and these happen at varying degrees of pressure and decision intensity, depending on the severity of the spiritual terrorism of the program of eternal damnation worship running in the background. Hope this helps some people understand these diseases better. To be healed or headed towards healing, a revelation of the truth, of the reality needs to be confronted and grief of the brainwashing, forgiveness, active listenning, empathy, sympathy and affirmation will help tremendously. It is like runing virus protection on a computer. This malware, eternal damnation worship, must be constantly vigilantly cleansed from the mind in the recovery process that can last a lifetime from the spiritual abuse of childhood enforced eternal damnation worship.

This is a fake disease created by the big pharmaceutical companies in order to sell their products. The key to any behavior problems is to feed the children decent, nourishing food. Don't drug your children.
