Are the following symptoms indicative of a sinus infection?

by Symptom Advice on January 15, 2011

My symptoms are:

Excessive saliva in the mouth, constant swallowing, tightness in the throat as a result of always swallowing, burping more often as a result of swallowing saliva, post-nasal drip.

Also, I've noticed a crackling sound in my ears, and they make a popping noise when I blow my nose hard enough.

Is this a sinus infection? how can it be cured?
