Are there symptoms to breast cancer that are not breast related?

by Symptom Advice on February 20, 2011

Many other cancers have symptoms like nausea, pain, tiredness, bleeding, headaches, etc. Are there symptoms that are common but non-breast related to breast cancer?

The best thing to do is get a thermography. Thermal imaging is over 95% accurate in the early detection of breast cancer. there is no compression and no harmful radiation. It is also 10 years earlier detection than mammography! Thermography is designed to show the pre-cancerous changes in the breast tissue before a tumor ever develops. It is absolutely unprecedented in the early detection of breast cancer.

Check out: thermographyfirst.com for more info on it.

I had no symptoms at all. my cancer was discovered on my baseline mammogram. It was a large tumor and had spread to 5 of my lymph nodes.

The symptoms mentioned below (nipple puckering, etc) are usually found in advanced disease.

You should have your symptoms checked out though. you didn't say where you are bleeding from but it sounds like something you should look into.

Your lymph nodes (under your arms) can become enlarged and tender.
Back pain can be associated with advanced breast cancer — it usually indicates an advanced cancer that has metastasized.

Don't listen to the guy who wants photos of your breasts.

Under my arm hurt because the lymph nodes were swelling up and had been infected.
I dont know of any other symptoms that would have alerted me except the breast area.
