Aretha Franklin Died: Aretha Franklin is well known as the Queen of Soul. “Aretha Franklin died” is the latest Twitter hoax driving the internet wild tonight. this is a rumor started by mean people who are bored in this holiday season. Many sources are saying that Twitter is trying to destroy soul legend Aretha Franklin. Rumors of Aretha Franklin Death began flooding the site on Dec. 27, and though it is true she recently underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer, there has been no update on her condition since she told Jet magazine she was on the mend. Aretha Franklin is 68-years old. She was born in March 25, 1942 at a two-room house in Memphis located at 406 Lucy St. Aretha Franklin is an American singer, songwriter and pianist. Although known for her soul recordings and referred to as the the Queen of Soul, Franklin is adept at jazz, blues, R&B and gospel music. Rolling Stone magazine ranked Franklin no. 1 on its list of the Greatest Singers of all Time. Twitter and Facebook were abuzz Monday night with rumors and difficulty about either Aretha Franklin had died. But a Free Press source says Aretha Franklin is alive and lazy at home. Aretha Franklin is suffering from pancreatic cancer. even though Aretha Franklin has cancer, family and friends say that she is doing okay for the time being. Aretha Franklin is one of the most honored artists by the Grammy Awards, with 18 competitive Grammys to date, and two honorary Grammys. WJBK FOX 2 News in Detroit confirms that Franklin has cancer. the Rev. Jesse Jackson, who has visited Aretha Franklin four or five times recently, told the AP Wednesday that she was “recovering very well” from “serious surgery.” Pancreatic cancer symptoms depend on the exact location of the cancer, and quite often, the disease goes undetected until it is fairly well spread. I am am glad that the news Aretha Franklin died is not true. I really wish Aretha Franklin quick recovery and try to make it to 2011 without losing any more greats.
