Can I seriously find a little help on here?

by Symptom Advice on February 24, 2011

I was out in the wilderness for almost a year and I've only recently returned home.after being around people for the past few days I'm showing signs of vitamin and mineral deficiencies and I really need some sound advice. When I first wake up,I feel like I have a hang over and I'm very edgy.I snap at the smallest things that have never bothered me.I can't concentrate on much of anything for any long period of time.I have no symptoms of scurvy, no bone loss,my teeth are still perfect.I have very little energy and motivation.my doctor recommended a high potency B-complex for energy,it's helping a little but it's doing nothing for the hangover and snappiness.two days ago I took a B-6 by itself before I went to sleep and I woke up my old self.Happy and calm.Yesterday morning was the same way.Yesterday,I took the B-Complex as well as the B-6.this morning I woke up with the hangover again and I'm very edgy again.I need some help with this and my doctor is trying but I don't think nutrition is his best subject.I'm deficient on a lot of vitamins as well as minerals.the whole time I was at my station, very little supplies were flown in.my mental clarity isn't the best right now but I'm explaining this as best I can.any sound advice is greatly appreciated.

Look in the yellow pages and see if you can find a nutritionist and/or a dietitian.

If you are seriously having such deficiencies (and I dont doubt its totally possible) the facts are this….

Its gonna take 8-16 weeks before you see the full effect of taking the nutrients you need. Takes that long for the cells to turn over, and in turn for the metabolism to change as well.

Be patient.
