My mom has gone to the gynecologist, and she today saw minor bleeding that had nothing to do with period. She said that she needs to wait a month for the results, and I'm really scared. I googled the symptoms and it mentioned the bleeding, but nothing else. Are there any other symptoms such as weight loss or stuff like that? if there is a doctor answering this, please tell me everything you know. but please, simplify it, since I'm not such a whiz with medical terms.

Early cervical cancer has few symptoms. That's why annual pap smears are important.
Bleeding outside of a period is very common has many many causes. Fibroids and endometriosis are two very common ones. both are treatable.
I would not worry until there is reason to worry. Cancer is possible but less likely to be the cause than other reasons.
I agree with Bonzema- try to keep a positive mind until you have an answer. there are many many reasons to have spotting and it sounds like you and your mom are doing all you can do at this time. that is all that can be asked. I hope everything turns out well for you and her.
