i need the answear for this question for school

Menopause is marked by the age related decline of release of sexual hormones by the ovaries. by adding back the hormones that are no longer being produced, and slowly weening the patient off of these hormones the symptoms of menopause can largely be controlled. this process is quite similar to how opiate addicts are weened off of opiates to avoid withdrawal symptoms while ultimately aiming for being clean.
