HPV Symptoms? – Yahoo! Answers

by Symptom Advice on January 15, 2011

I've been diagnosed with high grade premalignant HPV. I've been experiencing sweats, fatigue, abdominal cramping and excessive discharge. could this be related to the precancer/ could it be progressing to cancer?

Yes if you have already been diagnosed with a high grade premalignant HPV then the next step after that is Cancer. High grades of HPV advance eventually to Cancer. at the level you are now you desperate need to get surgery to eliminate the bad precancerous cells to eliminate the HPV.

Abdominal cramps and vaginal and anal warts are signs of HPV.

Im sorry to hear that. I have it too. I just have been coming to terms with it since january.
But there really aren't any symptoms. it sounds to me like your body is reacting to stress over this diagnosis. you need to talk to your doctor or your OBGYN about dealing with this. Maybe hearing everything they have to say about it will put your mind at ease. The chance of this progressing to full blow cancer is low. And there are MANY treatment options, a hysterectomy isnt the only thing. Just call and tell them that you need to know more because you are experiencing signs of stress that maybe due to this news.
Good Luck.
Keep on top of it with all of your check ups and you'll be fine.
