I had Cushing's syndrome (high cortisol levels) and now my symptoms seem to be diabetic?

by Symptom Advice on December 24, 2010

I read that high levels of cortisol can damage the pancreas which can lead to diabetes. here are my symptoms.

I am always tired, a lot of times i'll feel lightheaded and like i'm gonna pass out (especially like half an hour after i eat), and usually around that time i'll feel nauseas too, my skin is really dry, i'm ALWAYS thirsty, i pee a full pee about once every half an hour, sometimes i'll wake up with night sweats, i'm always hungry, and i'm almost always cold. sometimes i'll just get like little specks of black in my vision building inward when i have a blast of lightheadedness and i'll just see black for a second and then it'll sprinkle back into vision. i can't concentrate very well.

could i have type 2 diabetes? and if not that, then what?

i had a blood draw one morning after fasting during my sleep but it came out normal, so idk.

and if i DO have diabetes, how could it effect my life? :(
