I recently started taking anti-biotics for prostatitis, but it's no better. Should I be concerned?

I recently started taking Septra for prostatitis. My doctor said I should take it for 3-6 weeks. I've been on it for a little over 1 1/2 weeks with no improvement of symptoms. I'm growing concerned that I have one of those difficult to treat, never ending types of prostatitis that I have read about. How long does it normally take antibiotics to work for this condition?

Ok everyone dont be so shocked, I am going to give a serious answer this time.

Rovicid, warm baths works. more specifically in Rovicid is saw Palmetto (beta-sisterol)and Zinc. Symptoms quiet down after a while. Work on stress management, stress makes it worst.
