I'm 15 and I have some symptoms of cervical cancer. How can I be sure if I have it? Can I have it at this ag?

I haven't had the gardsil vaccine or any other vaccines to prevent cancer, is it too late to get it?

You can certainly have it at that age. You would have to have had HPV which is a virus that is sexually transmitted, so go get a pap smeal asap at the doctors and if you don't have neither the virus or the cervical cancer (the virus is necessary to obtain the cancer) then i would get a vaccination for it also asap that way you never get either of them. goodluck

It's not to late to get gardisil you have till your 26. I can't believe that you are 15 and your having sex. your just a baby. You need to go to a Gyno A.S.A.P. Even if you are menstruating go right away, they can still check you, and let them give you a pap smear and check for other things. yes you can get Cervical Cancer at any age. It's comes from a STD called HPV. Go get checked as soon as possible

When in doubt time to get a checkup.

Go to your local Planned Parenthood and find out? how do you know the symptoms of cervical cancer??? normally there is no symptoms.

Who told you your symptoms were those of cervical cancer? there are no symptoms specific to cervical cancer. there can be symptoms of abnormal bleeding, pain, etc, but none that can be linked without further evaluation to a specific diagnosis of cervical cancer. if you have pelvic or menstrual problems, go to your doctor, a community health center, or Planned Parenthood to have your questions answered, and if needed, an exam. The screening test for cervical cancer is a pap smear, which is a vaginal exam in which cells are brushed off of the cervix, and sent to a pathologist who looks at them under a microscope to see if abnormal cells are present. The first thing you need is clarification of what symptoms you are having, then an appropriate exam.
Remember when the kid told the "Kindergarten Cop" that his headache COULD be a tumor? Its true, some headaches do come from tumors, but that shouldn't be at the top of the list for everyone whose head hurts. there are more likely diagnoses than cervical cancer without more information.

The only way to be certain that you do or don't have any disease is to see a Dr and get an accurate diagnosis.

At age 15, unless you have been sexually active for some time it would be unlikely that you would have cervical cancer.

Gardasil cannot prevent cervical cancer, it reduces the forms of HPV you can contract which in turn reduces your risk of cervical cancer.

Unless you have already contracted all forms of HPV that Gardasil protects against, then it is worthwhile getting the vaccine.

You need to see a Dr and get accurate information on your health, sexually transmitted diseases and contraception.

Cervical cancer has no symptoms until it is very advanced.
The only way you can know if you have it or not is by going to your doctor.
It is possible to have it at your age, but not likely.
There are no vaccines to prevent any kind cancer.
Gardasil protects you against 4 strains of HPV, but it cannot protect you against a strain of HPV it does not contain or one you have been exposed to.
You can still get the vaccine and hopefully you have not already been exposed to the strains it contains so that it may help you.
You can still get cervical cancer and not have HPV.
You can still get cervical cancer if you have had Gardasil.

You need to go to the gynecologist. Cervical cancer symptoms are pretty vague so its basically impossible to figure it out on your own.

The gynecologist will take a look at your cervix and take a PAP smear to check for abnormal cell growth. if it comes back abnormal they will do a biopsy to check the cells more carefully and then they can diagnose if you have cancer or not.

It is not too late to get the Gardisil vaccine, but you should get a gynecological exam first to make sure you don't have cancer (most likely you don't, its rare at your age) or any other issues. You can get Gardisil until you're 26 in the USA I think in UK they prefer you're under 18 or maybe 21?
