Is it possible to have an STD if you've never had sex or oral sex and you've never shown symptoms?

I'm sixteen and I've never had any form of sex. as far as I know, my mother doesn't have an STD (I've never asked), and I've never shown any symptoms for any STD.

So why are you worried?

You could get an STD from another person's blood… if you use the same razor blade as them, for instance, and you both cut yourself.

Yes. herpes, or cold sores, different strain but same basic virus.

Papilloma virus is that which causes warts, there are also several strains of this.

Both of these are spread through skin to skin contact, so even touching can spread them.

I was also told by the nurse who did my last pap that they are unsure how some are spread and there is a possibility that they can be picked up from the toilet seat. Other sources say this is not true.

Some STDs you can have and not know it. the herpes and papilloma virus both live in your system and don't necessarily present physically but can still be spread to others.

If you've never had sex or oral sex you're probably safe but if worried go get tested, it's not as bad as you think it will be.

Yes, SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES are airborne. you should buy a gas mask just to be safe. also commonly found in pools, so avoid swimming at all costs.

If you have never had oral sex or sexual intercourse then you shouldn't have an std. It's also not common to be born with one. There are are some infections like oral herpes (what causes cold sores on the mouth), hepatitis that you can get with out having sex and pass it on when you have sex if you happen to have any of those infections. If you need further proof then you can get tested for stds.
