Is it possible to have anxiety symptoms without having an anxiety attack itself?

by Symptom Advice on March 30, 2011

ive been getting weird pains and sensations all over my body and head and ect… my doc swears its all due from anxiety everyone else thinks its all in my head too … ive been suffering from anxiety attacks since i was 12 and im a bit of a hypochondriac supposedly

… since you were 12. How old are you now?

* Has your doctor prescribed any medications or group-type therapy for you?
* Is this affecting (controlling) your life in a negative way?
* Could it be related to food?
* many people have anxiety; it's how we relate to it that is the difference.

You could have thyroid issues or other medical problems.

* Has your doctor done a complete blood work up on you?
* Have you gotten a second opinion about your anxiety?

Hmmm, well yeah it can be.

But I'd double check if you can identify with the symptons (physical and emotional) listed here: treating-anxiety.net/emotional-and-physical-symptoms-of-anxiety-attacks.html

well, you can seem anxious without having a full out anxiety attack. like some people with anxiety are a lot more jumpy than others but are not having anxiety attacks because of this symptom.
