Mind over mood – a group for men

It is a group for men specifically.

And it’s designed to help those with anxiety and depression learn to control their mood.

The Oshawa Community Health Centre is offering a Mind over Mood group, which uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to teach participants how to gain control over their thoughts in order to change their moods. 

Mind over Mood is offered to men who experience symptoms of anxiety and depression and who have difficulty managing stress. this eight-week group is offered on Wednesday nights starting at 5:30 p.m. The two-hour sessions start on September 21 at the centre which is located 115 Grassmere Ave.
