Stomach Aches- How To Treat

Any kind of pain that is experienced in between the diaphragm and the groin is called as stomach ache. the pain in the abdomen can come due to various situations which can affect various organs. Hence stomach ache is caused from various factors but the food that we consume is in general considered as the most important factor.

However there are a huge number of other factors that are responsible for stomach ache. Depression, stress, anxiety, appendicitis, Benign Prostrate Hypoplasia (BPH), food poisoning, urinary tract infection, labor pain, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcers, hernia, kidney stones, Crohn’s disease, gall stones, endometriosis etc are some of the various factors that can cause stomach pain.

Again, some of the symptoms of stomach pain are cramping pain, burning pain, sharp jabbing pain, slicing pain or stabbing pain of the stomach. however, there are a lot of ways by which the stomach aches can be cured.

Water: most of the time, stomach ache is caused by the excess eating of the junk and spicy foods. These foods create toxins within the stomach as well as all through the body. Intake of hoards of water tends to flush out the toxins from the body and restore the normal working of the organs of the body. Hence consume lots of water in order to cure the problem of tummy ache.

Peppermint tea: Peppermint tea is known to soothe and ease out the cramps of the individuals facing acute stomach pain. All that needs to be done is to take some of the herb, mix it in water and steep for about 20-30 minutes.  now the mixture has to be strained and cooled down and the tea has to be consumed so as to ease the stomach ache symptoms.

Chamomile and slippery elm: the tea that is made up of chamomile and slippery elm is also good for the soothing and treating of stomach pains. These teas aid in the soothing of the inflamed mucous membranes of the stomach lining. These herbal teas can be prepared by adding a teaspoon of each of these herbs in a cup of hot water. It has to be consumed thrice daily so as to soothe the stomach.
