Symptoms of gallstones?

by Symptom Advice on December 18, 2010

Hi, I've been to my doctor and am getting the results of blood tests back next week, but do any of you know if my symptoms tally?

I have SEVERE reactions to fatty foods – I find it difficult to breathe and have been sick. I also get bad cramps. I think the stress of it all has made the symptoms worse.

In general, I have been having a lot of gas and have experienced some back discomfort.

I can't find anything else on the internet about fast food intolerance, so think it must be gallstones. I am only 25 and not overweight, but have put on and lost a considerable amount of weight in the last few years.

I am worried and any thoughts would be appreciated.

Read about this. Really just giving you options to review.

Maybe you can find a similarity in symptoms there. Might not be just the fatty foods.

when i had a gallstone attack, the pain was localized to the right side of my stomach, up just under the ribs. it got worse with fatty foods, and i also experiences lots of gas issues. my gall bladder problems didn't show up in blood tests, but could only be seen with ultrasound.

good luck!

i had mine removed 2 years ago they best thing i ever did. The pain was BAD! i had chest pains back pain sickness all at the same time everyday all the time.i noticed it bad when i would have popcorn but i didn't eat any real fatty foods its just more common in women then men.I was only24 and i wasn't huge. don't just remove the gallstones ask to get the gallbladder removed cause they could come back so remove it all you don't even need your gallbladder.the stone i had was the size of a golf ball and if i didn't do anything about it then it would have caused big time damage so go get hat removed asap! good luck with that

gallstones? I dont know, talk to your doctor about taking an upper GI series taken because this sounds like its in your gastrointestinal tract thus your cramps and gas and back spasms.and yes nerves can aggravate these symptoms.I hope things go well for you. m m
