How likely is it to get oral cancer from high-risk HPV?
I read somewhere that it’s possible to get oral cancer from high risk strains of HPV. What’s the likelyhood of someone who has had an abnormal pap with high-risk HPV getting throat cancer? I’m very scared over this
It appears that 25% of new mouth cancers–and 35% of new throat cancers–are now being caused by HPV.
The stats are alarming.
