What are some symptoms of rising blood sugar?

by Symptom Advice on December 13, 2010

I am curious to know what symptoms diabetics feel at each elevation tier of blood sugar. Is there a chart or a website where I can gain information on it? I do not have any symptoms that change as my blood sugar goes up. I feel the same way having a blood sugar of 90 or 300, and when I check it I am always curious to see the number because I can not guess it from how I feel. the only difference is if it drops below 90, then I can feel the shakiness and weakness, etc.

If your blood sugar drops too low, you will experience "hypoglycemia" – any one can get this. the body begins getting shaky and week, just as you described.
.
Look it up on Wikipedia for more information (I am not diabetic, sorry):
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypoglycemi…

We are not as sharp witted with high blood sugars, but we will not notice this for ourselves. I feel nothing with a high blood sugar, just the lows effect me.

You could get a dry mouth, excessive thirst or have to pee a lot.
