What are the beginning symptoms of lung cancer?

Symptoms such as a cough or shortness of breath that you think are related to a respiratory disorders. A cough that doesn't go away. Hoarseness with coughing up blood or bloody mucus. Swelling in the neck and face. Difficulty in swallowing. Weight loss and loss of appetite.Increasing fatigue and weakness.Recurring respiratory infections, such as pneumonia. Clubbing of the fingers and toes. the nails appear to bulge out more than normal.

I had no symptoms that were really of any concern til I was diagnosed with stage iv lung cancer. the only concern I had was a nagging cough that wouldn't go away. Now, three years later I have pain caused by the growth of the tumors and damage to my bones from chemo, but still no classic symptoms of lung cancer that are listed.

Lung cancer-Cancer arising in the epithelium of the air passages(bronchial cancer) or lung.it is a very common form of cancer and it is strongly associated with cigarette smoking and exposure to industrial air pollutants(including asbestos).There are often no symptoms in the early stages of the disease,when diagnosis is made on X-ray examination.Treatment includes surgical removal of the affected lobe or lung( 20% of cases are suitable for surgery),radiotherapy,and chemotherapy.

There are no symptoms in the beginning.
