by Symptom Advice on December 8, 2010

My two daughters have been going to VBS at our church this week and my youngest goes to the nursery she is only one. well when i picked her up today the nursery worker told me that one of the other babies that she played with constantly yesterday had woke up this morning with strep throat. my daughter was running fever this morning when she woke up and i now think this is why. so i need to know the signs and symptoms to look out for if she does indeed have it.

Fever, Stomach ache, sore throat, puss pockets on tonsils, stuffy nose, and sometimes a cough

fever chills, and sweating
headache
high pulse
sometimes nausea and vomiting
sore throat
swollen tonsils and lymph nodes in the neck

Have pediatrician do a throat culture to check for strep.Usual symptoms are excessive drainage in throat, fever, and coughing-sneezing.

i knew my son had strep the second time.. by a rash on his body. then fever..never compalined of his throat hurting him..final got a positive throat culture
