What are the symptoms of an allergic reaction to eating tuna fish?

by Symptom Advice on August 23, 2010

Could anyone please tell me what the above symptoms are, as my boyfriend has just ate tuna fish and feels as if it is stuck in the middle of his chest, he is also clammy and salvating and it is very uncomfortable for him this has happened to him before but we thought it was just indigestion, I've told him to go to the doctor but he's not having any of that, I need to know if this is serious or if there is something i can do for him at home?

well symptoms could vary from a rash to finding it hard to breathe… you will know within 20 mins or less if you have an allergy.

It sounds to me like he is having an anxiety attack, maybe from the thought of being allergic. the mind can do crazy things…

So long as he is still breathing. he might want to try and relax, drink some warm water and if it makes him feel better, take some benadryl or other allergy medication.

Could possibly be an allergic reaction. if he won't go to a doctor, then he should stay away from tuna fish. but it's better to know what food to avoid, than to take your chances and get another reaction, possibly more severe next time.

it has merciri
