What are the symptoms of Cancer in the Blood?

Someone told me my future girlfriend has cancer in her blood, what would the symptoms be :-(

Fatigue
Malaise (vague feeling of bodily discomfort)
Abnormal bleeding
Excessive bruising
Weakness
Reduced exercise tolerance
Weight loss
Bone or joint pain
Infection and fever
Abdominal pain or "fullness"
Enlarged spleen, lymph nodes, and liver

Do you mean cancer or leukemia? there is a big difference.

You are talking about Leukemia…and there are several different kinds. the usual initial symptoms are frequent colds, bruising, bleeding under the skin, extreme fatigue….extemely low WBC (white blood count). there are self help groups that will assist you and she in dealing with this…my very best to you.

There are OTHER types of blood cancer besides Leukemia – it is the most common but others include:

Lymphoma, Non Hodgkins, Hodgkins and Multiple Myeloma to name a couple.

all are different: one main thing is that it makes you tired ALL the time; from anemia

I have myeloma and I can tell you it HURTS (my legs are killing me today)
