Hi I've been seeing a few symptoms these days and am a little worried – hoping you can help
I had pretty bad acid reflux (including throat pain) for the last 2 weeks and lost avbbout 5 pounds over 2-3 weeks and got put on a dose of omneprazol for the last week. I've suddenly started seeing my bowel movements being afffected – sorry to gross you out (pale, floating) and I still have some abdominal pain near my sternum
I'm really paranoid that I have pancreatic cancer (i'm 29).
What I want to check are:
1. Does Omeprazole cause Malabsorption (change in stools to above)
2. can one lose weight with Acid Reflux problems?
3. Does all types of pancreatic cancer need Jaundice?
4. what else can these symptoms be if not pancreatic cancer? I'm particularly worried about the weight loss and stool.
P.s with Omeprazole, my throat has healed and the sharp shooting pains I used to get in my chest and stomach have come down quite a lot within the 1 week I've been taking it.

Pale stool indicates it's more likely to be a gall bladder problem. has your doctor checked for that? Oh, and it would be a run-of-the-mill gall bladder problem, not cancer.
