When do pregnancy symptoms start to develop?

by Symptom Advice on August 23, 2011

I was wondering when pregnancy symptoms begin to develop. my ex-girlfriend and I had sex about 3 weeks ago. She was supposed to have her period on tuesday, but it still hasnt come yet. She is freaking out about it. we didn't use a condom but i came on her stomach not in her. She hasnt had real signs of pregnancy the only thing is that she has missed her period. would she experience any symptoms?

Have her take a test. I know for a fact that I ovulated early and only realized this as signs of fertility weren't showing up in me when they normally would. At that point, I took EC 4-5 days after the first instance of unprotected sex, so I think it's too late. Right now, I am 10 days post ovulation, I believe and I'm having all kinds of symptoms. So, for some women, it can happen at 8 dpo or they can start to feel it soon after a missed period. It's really individual and about how tuned in a woman is to her body.

my senses got heightened at 2 weeks…. every thing got up my nose and i was constantly sneezing for 2-3 days straight… thats when i decided to take the test… as my periods weren't regular anyway… i put that down to being plus size and constantly trying to diet… but i got there in the end..

You can miss a period or delay a period if your dieting or stressing… or if your thinking about it too much…. take her mind off it and she'll carm down…. I found that if i stressed about coming on i'd find i didnt… but as soon as the test said negative i came on in about an hour…

Pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy; however, one of the most significant pregnancy symptoms is a delayed or missed menstrual cycle. Understanding the signs and symptoms of pregnancy is important because each symptom may be related to something other than pregnancy. some women experience signs or symptoms of pregnancy within a week of conception. for other women, pregnancy symptoms may develop over a few weeks or may not be present at all. Below is a listing of some of the most common pregnancy signs symptoms. if you have been sexually active and experiencing any of the following symptoms it is important to take a pregnancy test.

Even though you pulled out sperm can still get in her. it Only takes one sperm out of 5,000. She prob wouldnt be having any symptoms yet. I didnt start to have symptoms till I was 6 weeks or 8 weeks pregnant. Id go get a pregnancy test they are only like 4 dollars for the walmart brand one(which works just as well as the other brands). Good luck

Generally 2 weeks after sex at the earliest……most people get the nausea and vomiting and stuff at around 6 weeks though

My Girlfriend started having them 3 weeks after her period didn't come

Same situation was with me and my fella he pulled out and i was still pregnant to our shock… when it was explained by the DR he said that even thru sex mens sperm leaks… and that can still get u pregnant… which is what happened with me… so we learned a lesson even pullin out doesnt stop pregnancy only way to do that is condom or birth control… but then condoms are not 100%…
Best thing to do is for her to take a test and see what result she gets…
Good luck…

I think she should just get a test to see….

Some people know the day they got pregnant and some doesn't know for months later it all depends on how your body reacts to the pregnancy but i read somewhere that you can get symptoms @2-3 weeks. and yes even though you pulled out you can still get pregnant.

doesnt matter if u came on her stomach or not you can still get pregnant by using with pulling out method.
early symptoms would be tender breasts
stomach cramps
morning sickness

i would advise to get a test
good luck
