When I read or hear about any disease or symptoms I freak out because i feel that I am infected by that disease is there any body out there suffering from a similar problem?

That is called hypochondria. that is a symptom that you DO have.

it's a condition (mental illness) called hypochondria. where you think you have an illness and you really dont.

In some cases the individual will say, ' i have pneumonia.' they go to a doctor and they do not have the illness. Then they will force themselves to get the illness, to prove that they have pneumonia.

but relax, go for your yearly checkups (or bi-yearly) and tell them your concerns… but I think it's in your head. remember only a doctor can diagnose an illness.

I used to when I was younger. A few things got me past that.
1. Sick people are not attractive. if you are sick and weak you are not attractive to other people.
2. I worked at a doctor's office and saw people that WERE sick. if you are up running around having a good time you are not sick. Don't waste your time worrying about illness. if you are truly sick you won't be able to get out of bed.
3. Life is short. Live it to the fullest, and enjoy it. Don't waste it looking for something to be wrong.
4. go to the doctor for an annual or semi-annual checkup. if the doctor give you a clean bill of health that is good enough. go enjoy your life.
