For my dissertation i am looking at the correlation between severity of motor symptoms and activation in cortical brain areas in Parkinson's disease. I am struggling to find research that has looked at this. I can find research looking at the correlation with subcortical areas (basal ganglia) but not the cortical areas. the focus must be on cortical areas – SMA, M1, SM1 etc.
Anyone know any good studies?
