I recently posted a question about how God's so called plan is somehow so divine despite him letting over hundred thousand innocent people die a day. And one of the response I got was that it was man's fault (somehow)
But what about malaria. this is something which man has and never had any form of control over in any shape or form. Yet malaria is one of the planet's deadliest diseases and one of the leading causes of sickness and death in the developing world. according to the World Health Organization there are 300 to 500 million clinical cases of malaria each year resulting in 1.5 to 2.7 million deaths.
Children aged one to four are the most vulnerable to infection and death. Malaria is responsible for as many as half the deaths of African children under the age of five. the disease kills more than one million children – 2,800 per day – each year in Africa alone. in regions of intense transmission, 40% of toddlers may die of acute malaria.
About 40% of the world's population – about two billion people – are at risk in about 90 countries and territories. 80 to 90% of malaria deaths occur in sub-Saharan Africa where 90% of the infected people live.
Sub-Saharan Africa is the region with the highest malaria infection rate. here alone, the disease kills at least one million people each year. according to some estimates, 275 million out of a total of 530 million people have malaria parasites in their blood, although they may not develop symptoms.
Malaria kills 8,000 Brazilians yearly – more than AIDS and cholera combined.
So why would God let this disease which destroys millions of lives and takes many more allow it to continue. Again this is not man's doing, this is something which man did not create or cause or allow, yet it's a very real disease with very reals horrifying figures.
Why would God create an organism which sole purpose is to kill?
Why would God create something knowing it would destroy so many lives and create so much suffering?
Now this is NOTHING to do with man NOTHING AT ALL, man did not create this.
SO WHY DID GOD?
Study Romans 8:28. Remember, all that is going on is of God's plan and not man's selfish plan. this world was not made for men to be happy and live as they want to live.
Ge:1:26: And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
I know you can type, so you must be able to read, try reading the Holy Bible. Do you judge people without getting to know them? you must, because you seem to think it's okay to judge God without getting to know him.
But you don't believe in God, Tom. Your history says so. You're got a lot of anger and frustration over this imaginary being.
Don't pose questions about "why did God …." if you don't think said deity exists. it really doesn't make much sense.
You don't realize that satan is the god of this earth right now and it's his evil spirit that roams this earth to kill steal and destroy… Gods total plan is not totally about flesh mankind, but goes further for our Spiritual eternity. if you'd try to get to know God, then maybe all your "whys" would be answered.
When God created animals, he did not create them with the intention to kill. He did not create harmful mosquitoes.
There would be no suffering and no malaria if Adam and Eve had not sinned. but because they did, they brought sin into the world, resulting in all this disease and death.
No, WE did not create this. but it all comes down to Adam and Eve, who brought sin into the world.
If you are trying to make Christians question their faith or insult Christianity, you should know that it is based on faith and belief, and so true Christians will not suddenly be convinced by your argument that God is evil, which is what you are implying here.
So what have you done personally to alleviate the human condition? What good is your talent in statistical computations?
My dear friend, your first allegation is that hundred thousand innocent people die everyday! are you dead sure that they are innocent? when a person, who lived his whole life in wickedness, faces with a drastic accident, does he become all of a sudden an innocent person?
Secondly, who is here to live forever on earth? all people on earth shall die for sure. Do you want people to live forever on earth?
God very clearly has conveyed that his kingdom is not of this world. Life on earth surely is for a limited period only. God asks you to use this limited time wisely by seeking him and by doing his will. Do you do that? nobody bothers to seek him and to do his will. when you face with issues beyond your control, you point finger at God. you want him to permit all your wickedness and then help you whenever you need it. you mean something to God only when you regard him. if you don't regard him, deal with this life yourself.
As for children and sickness, these things are applicable to all people on earth. but if you depend on God with a sincere heart, He is quite capable to heal any sickness and protect you in this life itself. but do you ever depend on him?
This would not be a problem, except MAN outlawed the use of DDT, which was over 95% effective in wiping out the insects carrying this disease…
But the environmental morons declared it TOO DANGEROUS…so now we STILL have millions dying of this disease that should have been all but wiped out….ALL DUE TO SOMEONES POLITICAL AGENDA
